house) located on Stafford Street,

serves the
St Georges
& Oakengates districts of Telford. The
landlord (Mike Cashmore) & landlady (Sandra) have been in residence for
some years now, and have built up a considerable following of loyal
customers who appreciate good beer served in a lively yet friendly
atmosphere which has even enticed many "regulars" to forsake their "locals" in favour
of The Elephant & Castle pub.

is at the heart of
the St Georges community in Telford, Shropshire and is a short distance
from both Oakengates Centre & Telford Town Centre. This web site is
intended to provide an overview of

and its facilities.
Known for its excellent bar staff, quality beer & convivial atmosphere, the
Elephant & Castle
not only forms a hub of social life for the St
Georges & Oakengates communities, but also attracts regular customers from
outside St Georges & Oakengates. In fact we have regular customers
and receive regular visitors from across Telford in general.
